Agartala, Oct 26: Indrasena Reddy Nallu assumed the role of Tripura’s 20th Governor as he was formally sworn in during a ceremony held on Thursday.

The Chief Justice of the Tripura High Court, Apresh Kumar Singh, officiated the oath-taking at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan.

The ceremony was marked by cordial exchanges between Governor Nallu and the distinguished guests in attendance. Among those present were Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Justice Arindam Lodh, Chief Secretary JK Sinha, State Director General of Police Amitabh Ranjan, Tripura Legislative Assembly Chief Whip Kalyani Roy, Mayor Dipak Majumder, State BJP President Rajib Bhattacharya, and CPM State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury, along with other senior officials.

Before his oath-taking, Governor Nallu received a traditional guard of honor on the premises of Raj Bhavan.

Speaking with reporters, Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu expressed his gratitude to the President of India for appointing him as the Governor of Tripura.

He vowed to dedicate himself to the state’s development, focusing on principles of transparency, empowerment, and accountability. He further affirmed his commitment to making sincere efforts in collaboration with the Chief Minister to maximize the progress and well-being of the state and its people.
