1. Manipur police arrest six KCP(PWG) members in Imphal East for kidnapping two locals.

Imphal, May 12: Manipur police apprehended six individuals affiliated with KCP(PWG) in Kshetrigao Yumkhaibam Leirak, Imphal East district, in connection with the alleged kidnapping of two locals from the district.
The detained suspects are identified as (a) Chingakham Sanajaoba Singh @ Sana @ Dojo (23 yrs), (b) Soibam Sital Singh (24 yrs), (c) Maibam Naresh Singh (24 yrs), (d) Ningthoujam Ajit Singh (26 yrs), (e) Chingsubam Thounagamba Meitei @ Amujao (30 yrs), and (f) Wahengbam Premjit Singh @ Abung (40 yrs).
Moreover, the two abducted individuals have been successfully rescued by the Manipur Police.

Additionally, authorities seized 1 Maruti Suzuki Van, 1 two-wheeler vehicle, and 5 mobile phones during the operation.
