Agartala, Feb 23: In Kalyanpur, Tripura, a significant political shift occurred as over 675 voters from 337 families, formerly associated with Tipra Motha and CPIM, joined the BJP.

The event, attended by BJP General Secretary Bipin Debbarma, MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury, and Minister Bikas Debbarma, showcased the growing support for the party in the region.

According to Tripura Member of Parliament Rebati Tripura, the influx of new members reflects the trust and admiration for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s development initiatives.

He emphasized that people are impressed by the BJP’s commitment to progress and are choosing to align with the party over other opposition groups.

Bipin Debbarma, addressing the gathering, highlighted the continuous influx of people into the BJP, particularly in indigenous areas. He expressed satisfaction with the response to the party’s membership drive and attributed it to the positive perception of PM Modi’s development agenda.
