North Garo Hills, May 06: A 3.4 magnitude earthquake struck the North Garo Hills district in Meghalaya on Saturday at 11:35 am.

The earthquake had a depth of 5 kilometers and its epicenter was located at latitude 25.89 and longitude 90.67. Although the earthquake was not of significant magnitude, it caused a slight tremor in the region.
