Guwahati, April 29: Sibsagar MLA Akhil Gogoi has raised concerns about a fake Facebook account created under his name, featuring a profile picture of Bollywood star Salman Khan.
Gogoi has urged authorities to swiftly address this issue to prevent any potential misuse of his identity.
Taking to Twitter, Gogoi alerted the public, stating, “I want to inform everyone that an individual is running a fake Facebook account in my name. I urge the police to identify this person and take necessary legal action against them.”

Expressing worries about the misuse of his identity, Gogoi has appealed to the Director General of Police (DGP) of Assam Police, G P Singh, to launch an immediate investigation into the matter and implement appropriate measures.
