Kohima, March 07: If you follow Nagaland Minister Temjen Imna Along on Twitter, you will know that he has a delightful sense of humour. His posts are laced with wit and humour, and this is the reason why netizens love him so much.
However, his latest post is a bit of a reminder as well as advice to those who think littering on the streets is okay. He shared a picture of a littered street and accompanied it with a strong message.
The picture the Nagaland Minister shared shows a street littered with broken glass bottles. “Ayalee! It’s Bad. Don’t do this. ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ ka matlab hi bigad diya. Drinking & throwing scrap bottles are injurious to health & environment!” the caption reads.
Temjen Imna Along’s tweet was in response to a tweet posted by Twitter user Vinay Sharma. There, he sarcastically mentioned that humans are busy dirtying popular hill stations of North India like Delhi.
