Entertainment, Nov 27: Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s Diwali release, ‘Tiger 3’, continue to roar at the box office, reaching new heights with each passing day. As of its fifteenth day in theatres, on November 26, the film has accumulated a staggering Rs 271 crore in India.

‘Tiger 3’ marks the third instalment of the successful Tiger franchise, following ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ (2012) and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ (2017). With its resounding success, the film is poised to cross the coveted Rs 300-crore mark in the Indian box office soon.

Directed by Maneesh Sharma, ‘Tiger 3’ is the fifth instalment in YRF’s spy franchise, following the success of ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, ‘War’, and ‘Pathaan’. The film, which opened to rave reviews, earned Rs 44.50 crore on its opening day across all languages.

On its fifteenth day, ‘Tiger 3’ added Rs 6.65 crore to its impressive total, maintaining an overall occupancy of 22.96 percent on Sunday. The film stars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif reprising their roles as Avinash and Zoya, respectively and is produced by Aditya Chopra. Notably, it features cameo appearances by Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan.

With a soundtrack composed by Pritam and background score by Tanuj Tiku, ‘Tiger 3’ reportedly incurred a budget of around Rs 300 crore, making it the most expensive project from Yash Raj Films. The film’s success further solidifies its place as one of the year’s most anticipated and well-received releases.
