Agartala, Dec 30: In anticipation of the upcoming Lok Sabha election, significant changes have been made in the Tripura BJP organization, with a reshuffle involving Vice Presidents, General Secretaries, Secretaries, and various other wings.

The restructuring follows meetings held by BJP All India General Secretary BL Santosh, North Eastern In-Charge Sambit Patra, and Assam and Tripura State General Secretary (Organization) Ravindra Raju, who visited the state ten days prior and engaged with Tripura BJP President Rajib Bhattacharya, Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha, and other leaders.

As outlined in the order signed by BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharya, six individuals have been appointed as Vice Presidents, including Dr Ashok Sinha, Bimal Chakma, Subal Bhowmik, Tapas Bhattacharya, Papia Datta, and Patal Kanya Jamatia.

The party chief has also designated three General Secretaries, featuring former minister and MLA Bhagaban Das, Amit Rakshit, and Bipin Debbarma.

The party has added six state secretaries, namely Tapas Majumder, David Debbarma, Ratan Ghosh, Mousumi Das, Bhumika Nanda Reang, and Ajanta Bhattacharya.

Furthermore, the party has assigned two individuals as state treasurer and joint treasurer, along with an office secretary.

Mimi Majumder, a former MLA, has been appointed as Mahila Morcha Tripura President, while MLA Sushanta Deb will serve as the state president of Yuva Morcha.

Arabinda Das has been appointed as SC Morcha President, Parimal Debbarma as Janajati Morcha President, Malina Debbarma as OBC Morcha President, Pradip Baran Roy as Kisan Morcha President, and former Congress Minister who joined BJP, Bilal Miah, as Minority Morcha President.

On Facebook, Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha extended his best wishes and congratulations to all the newly elected officebearers of the Bharatiya Janata Party Tripura Pradesh Committee.

He expressed confidence that their experience and skills would play a crucial role in strengthening the party under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, All India President JP Nadda, and State President Rajib Bhattacharya in the coming days.
