Agartala, May 08: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha will actively participate in the Lok Sabha election campaign for BJP candidates in West Bengal, according to an official statement released on Wednesday.
A group of 14 Tripura BJP leaders, including state BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee, is currently involved in election activities in West Bengal.
“Chief Minister Manik Saha is scheduled to travel to Kolkata on May 9 to address a BJP election rally in North Kolkata on the following day, supporting party candidate Tapas Roy. He will return to the state by May 10 or 11,” stated a CMO official.

Rajib Bhattacharjee, BJP’s state president in Tripura, and party general secretary Amit Rakshit have been assigned to oversee election campaigns in Bolpur and Sreerampur Lok Sabha constituencies, respectively.
“Around 14 party leaders from Tripura are actively engaged in supporting BJP’s Lok Sabha election efforts in West Bengal. Our state president, Rajib Bhattacharjee, is leading the campaign in Bolpur Lok Sabha seat, while I am assisting in Sreerampur Lok Sabha seat,” explained BJP’s state general secretary, Amit Rakshit, over the phone.
