Moscow, March 23: The United States has warned Russia of the possibility of an attack in Moscow, said Adrienne Watson, a spokeswoman for the White House National Security Council.

Earlier this month, the United States government had information about a planned terrorist attack in Moscow (which could target large gatherings, including concerts), prompting the State Department to issue a public warning to Americans in Russia.

The US government also shared this information. The Russian authorities had complied with their extended “duty to warn policy” after, said., Sixty-two people were killed and more than 100 injured after gunmen shot and threw grenades at a concert hall in Moscow, the Russian capital.
