Guwahati, Jan 27: Assam girl Priyanka Das Rajkakati has become a source of pride for the Northeast as she accompanied French President Emmanuel Macron during his recent visit to India.

Hailing from Dhemaji in Assam, Priyanka is not only an artist but also an aerospace engineer based in Paris. In a viral video, she was seen conversing fluently in French with the French delegates during their visit to Delhi.

This is not the first time Priyanka has interacted with President Macron and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In 2023, she was among the 250 guests invited when President Macron hosted PM Modi for dinner at the Louvre museum in Paris.

Later in November of the same year, Priyanka made headlines as she was part of a team of 80 women scientists who traveled to Antarctica for a 19-night stay, sponsored by Assam Tourism and the Government of Assam.
