Gangtok, March 18: The Citizen Action Party (CAP) unveiled its comprehensive Election Manifesto for the 2024 polls in Sikkim, outlining a visionary path towards progress and prosperity for the state.

Describing it as more than a mere document, CAP presents the manifesto as a roadmap for development, inclusivity, and positive change across various sectors crucial to Sikkim’s growth.

CAP’s manifesto encompasses commitments to address pressing issues, empower grassroots governance, spur economic growth, promote social justice, and preserve Sikkim’s rich cultural heritage, reflecting a holistic approach to uplift the state’s citizens.

Comprising 27 chapters and spanning 135 pages, the manifesto underscores the depth and breadth of CAP’s vision for Sikkim’s future, outlining detailed strategies and policies.

The launch event witnessed the presence of CAP’s Chief Ministerial candidate Ganesh Rai, President Bharat Basnett, and other prominent party leaders, who emphasized the manifesto’s pro-poor and reformative nature across sectors.
